An integral energy spectrum in regions of forbidden and permitted pitch angles is obtained for electrons with energies not less than approximately 100 MeV, trapped by the geomagnetic field. The results support the interpretation that the trapped electrons are produced in the upper layers of the atmosphere under the effect of primary cosmic rays at various longitudes; these electrons experience a longitudinal drift, with changes in the height of their mirror points.
