Calculations of weak low-frequency oscillations of a perfect rotation compressible liquid are discussed. A new method is suggested for solving the problem on the basis of eigenfunctions of a Poincaré operator. An effective calculation scheme has been developed for computing the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Poincaré operator. The method is used to calculate the amplitude of forced nutation of an Earth with compressible core. The high rate of convergence of the method is demonstrated. The inclusion of compressibility affects significantly the theoretical nutation amplitude.
