The effect of Coriolis forces on the stability of the electromagnetic ordinary mode in counterstreaming and counterrotating plasmas is examined using a cold-plasma model. It is found that Coriolis forces, like the applied magnetic field, stabilize the ordinary modes, and in the presence of either streaming or rotation or both, the ordinary-wave propagation is possible even for frequencies less than the plasma frequency.
