We have monitored IRAS 19015+1625 over 78 nights in 2005 and 2009 collecting accurate CCD BVRcIc photometry and absolutely fluxed spectroscopy. The star presents a pulsating variability characterized by an amplitude of 1 mag in V band, a shorter period around 50 days, and a longer one of the order of 250 days. The observed spectrum provides a perfect match to a M6III giant reddened by E_B-V=1.0.
