The Edinburgh/Durham Southern Galaxy Catalogue is used to calculate the angular two-point correlation function of galaxies at a depth of bj of about 20 for two regions of the survey. The correlation function for a region of about 100 sq deg calibrated to high accuracy confirms a break from a power-law corresponding to a physical scale of about 7/h Mpc. A partially calibrated region of about 500 sq deg gives rise to a break feature on larger scales, indicating that systematic number density variations of about 20 percent may affect the position of the break. In the context of current theories of galaxy formation, models involving a standard cold dark matter power spectrum with additional large-scale power appear to be excluded.
