Cosmic Rays: Muons, Cosmic Rays: Energy Spectra

Scientific paper

The muon energy spectra at zenith angles 0° and 89° have been estimated from the recent primary cosmic ray nucleon spectrum based on latest primary flux measurements along with the Z-factors for p-air collisions at high energies for n±, K± production weighted with a power of 1.73. The derived vertical integral muon spectrum is found in accord with the latest underground BAKSAN data and also with the earlier KGF and ERPM data of different authors for energies up to 200 TeV.
