The two-body post-Newtonian equations of motion in the nonsymmetric
gravitational theory are reduced to the one-body form in the
center-of-mass coordinates. The periastron shift formula is calculated
and an additional negative contribution is found that can have important
consequences for apsidal motion in close binary systems.
