Scientific paper

The author reports on a large scale 11 cm radio continuum and linear
polarization survey of the northern galactic plane (above -28 degrees
declination) and the North Polar Spur region. The angular resolution is
0.3 degrees and the final r.m.s. noise will be below 20mK in brightness
temperature.
