Reshoot proposal for GO 3804. Metal rich Galactic globular clusters and a field in the Galactic Bulge will be imaged in the UV and V bands to search for ultraviolet bright stars. Images will be obtained in the Wood's Filter (F160BW), F218W (a wide U) and a short image in the F555W (Wide V) filter to obtain positions for and verify any UV-bright stars detected. Effective temperatures and bolometric luminosities will be determined for these UV bright stars. Their num- bers relative to the total cluster luminosity will determine constrain their evolutionary life times. It is predicted that metal rich system may contain UV-bright stars of 100-1000 Lsun and 10^6 - 10^7 yr life- times; they would 1/10 as numerous as HB stars, but there should be between 3 and 30 such stars per cluster. Similar objects may explain the ultraviolet rising flux seen in giant elliptical galaxies, an unexplained hot population that is stronger in metal rich galaxies.
