Scientific paper

The vertical energy spectrum of GeV muons produced by the gamma-rays incident on Earth from the point source of Geminga pulsar has been estimated. The author has adopted the standard cascade equation for pions and the latest photopion production cross section from DESY ep collider data for their derivation. The calculated photopion produced muon energy spectrum for Emax = 200 GeV has been found to follow the power law fit Nμ(>E) = 9.5615×10-10(E/GeV)-1.02 per [cm2s].
