Analyses of the rich oscillation spectra obtained from these two delta Scuti stars using ground-based photometry reveal problems which are likely to be encountered in data from future space asteroseismic missions. The main difficulty is mode identification. It is unlikely that the richer spectra from space observations will alleviate this problem. Space observations of delta Scuti stars, however, are expected to increase our understanding of mode selection. This, in itself, justifies the inclusion of delta Scuti stars in the target list for future asteroseismic space missions.
