Continuous monitoring of environmental radiation (airborne radionuclides and cosmic rays with energies >50 keV) has been performed in the city ambient with two detectors separated by >2000 m. This allows us to extend the study of time variations of both components started in Antarctica. The characteristics of the observed fluctuations on occasion of atmospheric perturbations and their origin are briefly discussed.
