We carried out spectroscopic observation of the HeI5876 emission of
Herbig Ae star AB Aur for about one month. The HeI profiles revealed
rapid and remarkable variation. For our analysis, this variation may be
explained by some longitude-dependent structure of cold absorbing
material around the stable expanding chromosphere of AB Aur.
