The Monte Carlo analysis of CR from SNR has been used to predict the
energy spectrum of electrons (and positrons) incident on the earth. The
measured electron spectrum is consistent with there having been a local,
recent SN. The reason for a possible positron excess above 5 GeV is
discussed.
