Europa, the second Galilean Moon, is subject to intense bombardment by energetic ions and electrons as shown by the EPD measurements of the Galileo spacecraft. The Europa Orbiter of the EJSM mission under planning will provide detailed information on the plasma environment of Europa. Its interaction with charged particles of different energies is subject to the macroscopic and microscopic effects of the local electric field and magnetic field. In this work, we will examine the motion of MeV electrons and ions in different directions and distances in the vicinity of Europa. Such simulation model calculations will be useful not just to the study of the long-term surface modification process on Europa but also for a better assessment of the radiation environment to be experienced by a Europa Orbiter or a Europa Lander.
