Low-FeO relict grains are ubiquitous in CO3 type-II chondrules.
Overgrowths on these grains are 4-10 um, inconsistent with the growth of
large (>30-um) phenocrysts from tiny nuclei. Cooling rates estimated
from type-II textures must be reinterpreted.
