High resolution X-ray spectra taken during a large solar flare on 10 June 1979 are presented. Many lines of highly ionized iron were resolved and identified for the first time in solar spectra. Lines with a wide range of excitation temperatures are found to have a similar time development during the flare's rapid rise phase. The density-sensitive line ratios in Fe(XXI) and Fe(XXII) are discussed.
