To use stable isotopes to quantify CH4 cycling, d13C- and d2H-CH4
measurements must be precise to <2? and <15?, respectively. We are
developing a portable Cavity-Ringdown Spectrometer capable of measuring
CH4 stable isotopes with high precision.
