We present the in-flight performance of the X-Ray Telescope (XRT) onboard Suzaku. Suzaku has four XRT modules that provide us an imaging spectroscopy in the 0.3-10 keV energy band, with a combination of the X-ray Imaging Spectrometer (XIS). The XRT is designed as a conical approximation of the Wolter type-I optics in order to reflect X-rays up to 10keV. The thin-foil-nested structure is also adopted for an enhancement of the XRT aperture and a severe weight limit imposed by the launch vehicle. Although the total weight is only 80kg, the Suzaku XRT achieves a large effective area of 1000 cm2 at 7keV. In addition, a pre-collimator is newly equipped on top of each XRT module in order to reduce stray lights, which create a ghost image in the XIS field of view. Thanks to such features of the XRT together with low stable background of the XIS, we can carry out a background-free, highly efficient observation. In this presentation, we summarize the XRT characteristics of angular resolution, effective area including its angular dependence, and reduction of stray lights, which are verified by the in-flight calibration.
