We present the results of extensive survey of X-ray properties of the Galactic microquasar GRS 1915+105 during flaring states based on the data of RXTE observations. The evolution of the source during spectrally hard dips, soft states and transitions between them was studied in detail using simultaneous spectral and timing analysis. We examine the behavior of the low frequency (1-15 Hz) quasi-periodic oscillations (QPO) during spectrally hard dips and its correlation to the changes of the energy spectrum. According to the results of our simultaneous X-ray spectral and timing analysis, the behavior of the source during spectrally hard dips can be reduced to two basic types, somewhat similar to the radio-quiet and radio-loud hard steady X-ray states. Finally, we discuss our observational results in the framework of the two-component accretion disk models with jet/outflow.
