We discuss raised-rim landforms (possible collapsed pingos),
flat-floored depressions (possible alases) and polygonal
patterned-ground in the northern plains. We suggest that the assemblage
is a marker of thawed ground-ice and ponded water, formed at recent high
obliquities.
