Scientific paper
Polarization effect on twin-core fiber interferometer (TCFI) has been
observed for the first time. When using this effect on TCFI to measure
the strain within a beam, we can highly improve the S/N ratio and the
stability of the system. In this paper, we give some analyses and
experimental results.
