We use data from Mars Express (MEX) Analyzer of Space Plasmas and Energetic Atoms (ASPERA-3) Electron Spectrometer (ELS), to observe effects on space plasma around magnetic `anomaly' regions on Mars, and to examine differences between events on the day-side and night-side. The behaviour with altitude and the angular distributions of the observed electrons are determined to provide information on the signature's source, and the influence on surrounding plasma regions.
