The spectra of the X-ray and EUV emission induced by heavy solar wind ions, interacting with neutral helium atoms from the helium focusing cone, have been investigated. The X-ray brightness distribution, total and directional intensities of EUV and X-rays produced by the the Charge-Exchange (CX) mechanism have been calculated. Variability of the X-ray emission spectra have been investigated. The intensity ratios for different lines of the CX cascading emission of individual oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and neon ions have been computed for the fast and slow solar winds. These ratios may be used for a remote diagnostic of the interaction between the solar wind and interstellar helium gas. The contribution of the double-electron capture (DEC) collisions to a population of the highly excited solar wind ions have been computed. Spectra of energetic Auger electrons produced in the DEC auto-ionizing collisions of highly-charged oxygen and carbon ions have been calculated. Results of our theoretical modeling of the helium cone X-ray and EUV emission are compared with the data from satellite observations.
