Scientific paper

Stellar collapse is accompanied by emission of Eν≡10 MeV neutrinos and antineutrinos with the energy output Wν≡1053 - 1054erg. Annihilation of these particles (ν+ν→e++e-) in the vicinity of a collapsar (collapsing object) is considered. The physical consequences are discussed.
