The upper limit of the frequency of appearance of cosmic gamma-ray bursts in the cited energy range is estimated from data on the distribution of the number of time intervals with a specified number of photons, as detected by a gamma-ray telescope aboard the satellite Cosmos 561. Average energy and time characteristics of the bursts are presented.
