Scientific paper

On the basis of results obtained by the method of statistical trials concerning the possibility of the formation of meteor swarms by the ejection of matter from the cores of parent comets at any comet orbit point, the paper investigates the nature of the temperature changes on the core surface necessary for such ejections. The results relate this temperature to the size of the core, concentration of molecules in the direct proximity of the core's surface and to the position of the comet on the orbit.
