The following physical parameters of the Mars atmosphere up to a height of 190 km were calculated: temperature, pressure, density, acoustic velocity, concentration, viscosity, mean velocity of particles, and their collision frequency. The calculations were performed on the basis of Viking 1 measurements of: (1) surface pressure and temperature, (2) temperature distribution up to 90 km, (3) temperatures of 160 K at 130 km and 180 plus or minus 20 K at 140-190 km, and (4) molecular concentrations at 0-190 km.
