The (Delta-v)=2 IR emission bands of the X1Sigma(+) state of gaseous (C-12)(S-32) and (C-12)(S-34) are investigated experimentally using the Fourier-transform spectrometer at Kitt Peak National Solar Observatory. The results are presented in tables and characterized. Of the eight bands (containing up to 200 lines each) identified for (C-12)(S-32), the strongest head is that of 2-0 at 2585/cm, with the other heads toward smaller wavenumbers separated by about 26/cm. The interest of these transitions for astrophysical studies of the emissions of C-rich stars, molecular clouds, and comets is indicated.
