Gravitational Waves: Theory, Relativity And Gravitation, Mathematical And Relativistic Aspects Of Cosmology
Scientific paper
In this article I will provide an introduction to the phenomena of gravitational waves. I begin talking about Einstein's theory of gravity where gravitational waves are introduced as an effect of the propagation of perturbations of space-time. The Einstein equations are of nonlinear character but using perturbation theory, they become linear. Gravitational waves are a new way of looking at the Universe.
