The linearity and parallelism of Regge trajectories is combined with a
hyperfine splitting relation in multiplet to study charmonium spectrum. It is
found that predictions to the spectrum of 1D multiplet could be made once
another 1D state is confirmed. The newly observed X(3872), Y(3940), X(3940),
Y(4260) and Z(3930) are studied within the charmonium framework.
