Event shapes and jet shapes in neutral current deep inelastic scattering and
photoproduction are studied with the H1 and ZEUS detectors at HERA. The
measurements are compared to next-to-leading-order QCD calculations and Monte
Carlo models. The strong coupling constant is determined from subjet
multiplicities.
