According to the cosmological model of the author describing accelerating expansion and a double rotation at the same time, Coriolis forces are developed acting on the infalling material of any collapsing density perturbation, giving rise to the observed spiral structure of galaxies. If we ignore at a first stage this motion of the galactic material, taking place on the phi(2)-plane (see below), and consider this galactic material as taking part only in the overall differential rotation of the Universe on the plane of phi(1) (see below), we can arrive at an apparent rotation of galaxies, caused merely by the form of the underlying metric. This (angular) apparent rotation omega(0) is constant, that is independent of r, where r is the distance from the galactic center, giving rise to an apparent rigid rotation of the galaxy as a whole.
