The authors use the connection of the eleven-dimensional supermembrane theory with the eleven-dimensional supergravity to build an inflationary universe scenario with subsequent transition of it to the Friedmannian stage of the universe evolution. At this, the nontrivial topology of space-time plays an essential role so long as it ensures the existence of quantum effects necessary for realizing the scenario.
