E. Kuulkers (ESA/ESTEC), R. Remillard (MIT), and J.M. Miller (CfA), report that the renewed activity of XTE J1550-564 (IAUC #8100, CBET #12) is now also seen in the RXTE/ASM. The source started to appear around March 29. Between March 29 and 31 the 2-12 keV flux was between 40 and 65 mCrab, with a mean of 55+/-3 mCrab. The spectrum above ~5 keV is significantly harder than the Crab, consistent with the strong detection at hard X-rays with Integral.
