Consideration is given to solar chemical composition in terms of the work of Goldberg et al. (1960) and the modifications which have been made to the adopted abundances of several elements. Data obtained from various sources are discussed, noting photosphere and sunspots, the chromosphere, prominences and corona, and solar flare particles and the solar wind. Solar chemical abundances of helium, lithium, beryllium, and boron are outlined.
