In this study, we surveyed the Cluster and Double Star/TC1 data, trying to figure out the global configuration of dayside magnetopause (MP) reconnection X line. After removing the background flow, 1340 fast jets were characterized under southward and By-dominant IMF conditions. Suppose that the out-flow jets should be perpendicular to the X line at the reconnection site, the X line orientation could be obtained by calculating the “most perpendicular” direction. Looking into the jets under general southward and By-dominant IMF condition, the X line orientations were found to be consistent with combined anti-parallel & perpendicular model suggested by Moore et al.. Also, it is obtained that the low latitude reconnection X line obliquity strongly depends on the IMF clock angle. The relationship can be approximately represented as: θ = 0.24 * ( A_IMF - 180 ) + 91
