A one-parameter class of stationary cosmologies with spin and vorticity is studied. The free parameter determines the relative magnitude of spin angular momentum and orbital angular momentum. The author finds closed timelike curves both in the limit of vanishing spin (the Gödel limit) as well as for some values of the spin density, but for one range of the free parameter the model is completely causal.
