A rotational spectral line of HNC with the isotope N-13 at 87,090.6 MHz was detected in the galactic molecular source W 51 in March, 1976. The spectral line was also detected in DR21, Sag B2, and possibly also NGC 2264. All of these sources showed also the corresponding emission line for HNC containing N-12. The observations are discussed in some detail. The HNC spectrum for N-12 in Sag B2 displays a double peaked structure with a profound dip in the middle.
