The European School of High-Energy Physics is intended to give young experimental physicists an introduction to the theoretical aspects of recent advances in elementary particle physics. These proceedings contain lectures on quantum field theory, quantum chromodynamics, CP violation, radiative corrections, cosmology, particle detectors and e(+)e(-) accelerators, as well as reports on results from Hadron - Electron - Ring - Accelerator (HERA) and Laboratory for Extraterrestial Physics (LEP) and accounts of particle physics research at CERN and in Poland and Russia.
