The quasi-particle random-phase approximation (QRPA) has been successfully applied for the nuclear β-decays. In order to describe the deformed nuclei, we developed the deformed QRPA (DQRPA) with a separable Gamow-Teller residual interaction and applied for the Gamow-Teller transition for 26Mg. Our results for the Gamow-Teller strength of 26Mg well reproduce available experimental data.
