The authors present new radial velocities and a new analysis of all the published photometric and velocity variations of the β-Cephei-type variable δ Ceti. The period of δ Ceti has been increasing by 0.15 s/century since observations began in 1901. The authors confirm that the amplitude of the radial-velocity variation is increasing, but, more significantly, they suggest that the relative phasing between the light and velocity variations changes with time.
