The ionization-recombination cycle model is used to perform a numerical analysis of the effect of the season on electron kinetics in the D-region when it is subjected to high-power radio-frequency heating. The results indicate that it is necessary to take into account seasonal variations of D-region parameters in general studies of this region under high-power radio-frequency heating.
