The profiles of the first four lines of the hydrogen Balmer series H-alpha, H-beta, H-gamma, and H-delta are studied in the resolved and unresolved solar spectrum. Digital forms of the latest high-resolution atlases obtained using rapidly scanning double monochromators and Fourier spectrometers for the disk center and for the total flux from the whole solar disk are used.
