A three-dimensional nonlinear equation for internal gravitational waves is obtained, and an approximate soliton solution to the equation is examined. An approximate analytical solution to the equation of electron concentration in the F region is then presented which allows for both linear and nonlinear gravitational waves. These solutions include changes in the phase of electron concentration fluctuations with height.
