If the published experimental results on both air showers and underground muons generated by particles from Cygnus X-3 are correct, then these particles cannot be any presently known elemen- tary particles, neutral atoms, or micrograins of ordinary matter. The primary particles from Cygnus X-3 must be electrically neutral, relatively stable, strongly or electromagnetically interacting, and have rest mass less than 50 MeV/c2.
