I RECENTLY presented new photoelectric measurements of the intensity and distribution of the diffuse galactic light for two sections of the Milky Way1, and attempted to interpret these data using a model for the radiative transfer of direct and scattered starlight in our galaxy originally developed by Henyey and Greenstein2. The aim was to derive scattering properties of interstellar particles.
