Methods of investigating the confidence intervals of the mean-square deformation of the wavefront and the modulation transfer function (MTF) values of optical systems through an analysis of interferograms are considered in this paper. Approximate expressions are given, making it possible to carry out a rapid statistical modeling of the distribution law of the MTF values.
