We review various assumptions and approximations that are made in the recent theoretical calculations based on the one-pion-exchange approximation of the nucleon-nucleon axion bremsstrahlung amplitude from Supernova 1987A. These calculations indicate that the lower limit of the invisible axion decay constant Fa is upscaled above 1010 GeV so that the window of Fa is significantly narrowed.
