A method is proposed for correcting observed solar limb darkening for the effect of scattered light in the spectrograph. Measurements of the scattered light in the first diffraction order of the spectrograph carried out by three different methods are shown to agree. When optical filters are chosen appropriately, the corrections are shown to be insignificant for most of the spectrum.
